Challenger vs. Charger? Both of these muscular cars were designed with a singular goal in mind: high performance. The Challenger specs offer four engine options, from the 3.6L Pentastar® V6 with 305 hp on the base trim, up to the supercharged 6.2L HEMI® SRT Hellcat V8 that produces a searing 707 hp. The same engines are available on the Charger, giving you the same level of power on the higher end, and slightly less horsepower and torque with the base engines.
