Dodge service at Elgin CDJR

Mopar Express Lane

Oil and filter changes, tire rotation with a brake inspection, tire wear and pressure checks, battery tests, multipoint checkups, air filters, wiper blades and fluid top-offs. Appointments encouraged. Express Lane details.

Scheduled maintenance

We follow the maintenance schedule in your Dodge owner's manual for your engine and how you drive. Towing, short trips, dusty roads and extreme temperatures count as severe service.

HEMI and Hurricane engines

Our Service FAQs list HEMI and Hurricane engine work among our Dodge service. Towing with a Durango, stop-and-go driving and extreme temperatures shorten maintenance intervals; your owner's manual has a severe-service schedule for that kind of driving.

Recalls and warranty

Safety recall repairs are free at any authorized Dodge dealer, and warranty repairs are done at no charge on eligible vehicles. Our Service FAQs explain the factory coverage.

Brakes, tires and batteries

See our Dodge brake service, Dodge tire service and Dodge battery service pages, or shop tires at the tire center.

Mopar parts

Most genuine Mopar parts installed by an authorized dealer carry a 24-month/unlimited-mile limited warranty on parts and labor; batteries and some other categories have their own terms. Request parts on our Parts Center page.

Dodge service FAQ

Do you service Dodge vehicles that were not bought here?

Yes. We service any Dodge, wherever it was bought, and recall repairs are free at any authorized Dodge dealer. Express Lane is available for most makes and models.

Do you work on HEMI and Hurricane engines?

Yes. HEMI and Hurricane engine work is part of the Dodge service we do.

How often does my Dodge need an oil change?

When the Oil Change Due message appears, change the oil within 500 miles, and never go past 10,000 miles or 12 months. See our Dodge oil change page for details.

Will servicing my Dodge somewhere else void the warranty?

No. Under the federal Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act, a manufacturer can't void your warranty just because someone else serviced the vehicle or used another company's parts, though damage those parts or that work caused may not be covered. Warranty repairs themselves are done at an authorized dealer. See our Service FAQs.

Can I get a ride while my Dodge is in for service?

The dealership lists a complimentary courtesy shuttle and complimentary rental vehicles (ask when you book; availability varies), a Lavazza coffee bar, a kids' play area, a pet-friendly environment, free Wi-Fi and a complimentary car wash with service.
