Rubicon or Mojave?
Both are top Gladiator trail models. The Rubicon is set up for rock crawling, with the Rock-Trac 4.0:1 low range, front and rear lockers and the sway-bar disconnect, and it tows up to 7,000 lbs. The Mojave is Jeep's desert-rated model, with FOX 2.5-inch internal bypass shocks, a rear locker and a Command-Trac 2.72:1 low range, rated at 6,000 lbs. In Jeep's 2027 configurator data the Rubicon lists at $55,700 MSRP and the Mojave at $56,200.

Rock-Trac transfer case
A part-time Rock-Trac transfer case with a 4.0:1 low range is standard (2WD High, 4WD High, Neutral, 4WD Low). The 2027 specifications list a full-time Rock-Trac as available, and standard with the 35-Inch Tire Package.
Front and rear lockers
Tru-Lok electronic locking differentials front and rear, on third-generation Dana heavy-duty axles.
Sway-bar disconnect
An electronic solid front sway-bar disconnect system.
Axle ratio and shocks
A 4.10 axle ratio (4.56 with the 35-Inch Tire Package) and high-pressure gas-charged monotube shocks with a hydraulic rebound stop.
Tires and wheels
LT285/70R17C Falken Wildpeak A/T tires on 17 x 7.5-inch wheels with Mid Gloss Black pockets; Falken Wildpeak M/T tires are optional.
35-Inch Tire Package
LT315/70R17C BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A KO2 tires on 17 x 8-inch beadlock-capable wheels, with a 4.56 axle ratio, for 12.9 inches of ground clearance.

New on the 2027 Gladiator Rubicon
Jeep's What's New for 2027 release says Rubicon models now get standard body-color fender flares, heated front seats, a heated steering wheel and embedded navigation, and that a black hardtop is now standard on Willys and Rubicon.
