What is a range-extended Grand Wagoneer?
A Grand Wagoneer whose wheels are driven only by electric motors. A 92-kWh battery supplies them, and when it runs low a 3.6L V6 turns a 130-kW generator to make more electricity. That is the difference from a Jeep 4xe plug-in hybrid, where the gas engine can also drive the wheels. Jeep says it will be built at the Warren Truck Assembly Plant in Michigan.
