What is the Jeep Recon?
A five-seat, all-electric Jeep built for trails as well as pavement. Motors front and rear give it standard 4x4, and the Moab adds a locking rear differential, Selec-Terrain with Rock mode, skid plates and 33-inch all-terrain tires. Like a Wrangler, its doors, rear quarter glass and swing-gate glass come off without tools. The trade-offs to know: an EPA range of 222 miles and a 3,300-lb towing limit.
