Sport or Sport S?
Both share the Wrangler's trail basics: solid axles, Command-Trac 4x4 and the standard 3.6L V6 with a six-speed manual. Jeep's 2024 release lists the Sport S adding adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning, keyless entry, automatic headlamps, power heated mirrors, power windows and door locks and aluminum wheels. In Jeep's 2027 configurator data the Sport S costs $2,400 more MSRP than the Sport, two-door or four-door.

What the Sport and Sport S include
Sport: trail basics
Dana solid front and rear axles, a Command-Trac part-time transfer case with a 2.72:1 low range (2WD High, 4WD High, Neutral, 4WD Low), traction control and the 3.6L V6 with a six-speed manual.
Sport: tech and safety
A 12.3-inch Uconnect touchscreen, an eight-speaker audio system, a ParkView rear backup camera and side curtain airbags for the first and second rows.
Sport: open air
A premium soft top, fog lamps and a trail-ready antenna built into the windshield. The 2027 specifications list 17 x 7.5-inch black steel wheels on P245/75R17 Nexen tires, with all-terrain tires optional.
Sport S adds: driver assists
Adaptive cruise control, forward collision warning and Advanced Brake Assist.
Sport S adds: convenience
Keyless entry, automatic headlamps, power heated mirrors, and power windows and door locks.
Sport S adds: glass and wheels
A Gorilla Glass windshield and 17 x 7.5-inch Baltic Gray aluminum wheels.

From Jeep's 2027 Wrangler specifications. The towing table for the four-door Sport lists a 3.45 axle ratio and a 3,500-lb maximum trailer with each engine and transmission. The V6 takes regular 87 octane; the 2.0L turbo runs on 87, with 91 or higher recommended for best economy and performance. Fuel tanks hold 17.5 gallons (two-door) and 21.5 gallons (four-door).
